Mastering self taping techniques will help with auditions and podcasting. As an auditioning actor, this seems to be the new norm. Knowledge of this process will also give you flair and confidence if you have your own blog or podcast. Self-tape auditions saves time for the receiver and also for the sender. Another advantage for self-tape auditions is that it broadens the geographical range. In the past, if you were not local, you would not be able to audition! You don’t have to go to a fancy self-taping studio! Most people just have a simple setup in their own home.
Of course, you can learn a lot about this topic from online tutorials, but it often can be so helpful to have a personal coach to give you personal guidance on your particular issues.
