Private in-person and online lessons with top motion capture instructor. Motion capture technology is used in making animated films, sports training videos, medical training and video games. It is sometimes called mo-cap, mocap, performance capture and motion tracking. Sensors are placed on a human subject. when the person moves, the movement is captured digitally. This data can then be transferred to an animated character to assist in more realistic animation.
For Motion Capture & Performance Capture techniques we will cover The Volume, Computer Generated Images, ROM (range of motion), Emotions & specific Body Communication, Character Embodiment both for living & nonliving entities, how to work with the equipment, as well as, understanding “offset” eyelines, performing in the negative space, imaginary set visualizations, and holding a scene within a 3 Dimensional “empty” structure.
