Asiyeh Ziaei teaches acting in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles and online. She teaches Stella Adler Method, Meisner Technique, Camera Technique, Stage Technique, Commercial Technique, Shakespeare, Audition Preparation and Technique, Cold Reading, Vocal Production, Movement and Gesture, Makeup for Actors, Performance Anxiety, and Youth Classes. Asiyeh is an Iranian actress based in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in Iran, She grew up in a well-educated family. She played her first on-screen role when she was 18, with a small role in a movie directed by one of the legendary filmmakers, Bahram Eizaei. Later on, she started studying at Tehran university of art, school of film and Theater. She got a leading role in a popular TV show the same year as well as playing her first stage role as “Madam” in “The Maids”. Asiyeh won her first acting award for that play at the Student international Fadjr theater festival. She received four acting awards during her career in Iran and she has been fortunate to work with some of the great directors. Through all these years of working as an actress in Iran, She had to endure censorship both as a woman and as an artist. With all the instabilities and harassments happening in her home country, She decided to move to the US to resume her career in Los Angeles. After moving to LA, She passed some courses in “Acting Gang” which is a theater company owned by Tim Robbins. She also took some classes with Bernard Hiller and studied at Ruskin school, which is based on Meisner method. As for her acting experience in the US, She had the lead role in three major plays as well as two one-woman shows, in which she was acting and directing both. Asiyeh is now a known actress among Iranian community in California. She also has her daily show at KIRN radio, which is the main radio for Iranians abroad. She is also having her own TV show called ” Artist” at Today TV.
